Microchip identification is the absolute best way for you to recover your best friend if you become separated. A tiny transponder, approximately the size of a grain of rice, is placed below the animals skin above the shoulder. These chips are read by a scanner, which reads the microchip number. This data is readily available on both regional and national databases and allows for a quick return of your pet safely. We can’t imagine any of our patients without this new technology.
